MHS principal search narrows to final candidateMarlborough – Marlborough Public School representatives have announced that they have narrowed their Marlborough High School (MHS) principal search to a final candidate.
After weeks of resume reviews, interviews and two public meetings, Superintendent Anthony Pope has named Acton's Raymond J. Grey Junior High Principal Craig Hardimon as Marlborough's final candidate for the high school principalship next year.
Pope, members of the Superintendent's Cabinet, and members of the High School Principal Interview Committee did a site visit to Hardimon's school, and Hardimon visited MHS, as well as interacted with focus groups within the district.
A final decision on his candidacy will follow.

Acton-Boxborough Regional School District Superintendent Stephen E. Mills endorsed Hardimon.
“During my three years as superintendent, Craig has played a leadership role by taking on some of the most difficult issues in the district,” Mills said. “In addition to Craig's impressive professional accomplishments in school leadership, he is also very popular with students, teachers and parents. Despite his popularity, he has not been reticent to make very difficult decisions.”
