Michael T. Eagan, 70Northborough – Michael T. Eagan, 70, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012.

He leaves his loving wife of 25 years, Orysia (Melnyk) Eagan; his brother, James Eagan and his wife Lisa Khanna of Amherst; his daughters, Kelli Eagan of Belmont and Melissa Glover and her husband John of Maryland; and his grandson, Jack Glover. He was predeceased by his son, Scott Eagan.

Mr. Eagan spent more than 30 years working in the abrasives industry, most recently as a CEO.

“Our dear Michael, a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend, will always be remembered and treasured for his caring and sweet nature, his extraordinary sense of humor, and his loving generous heart. We will miss his cheerful, positive attitude about life.”

Calling hours will be held Friday, March 30, from 5 to 8 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 31, at 11 a.m., at the Assumption College Chapel, 500 Salisbury St., Worcester. Hays Funeral Home of Northborough is assisting with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Mr. Eagan's name either to the Rose Monahan Hospice House, VNA Care Network & Hospice Development Office, 5 Federal St., Danvers, MA 01923 or to Office of Development, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, 330 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215 (designated to the Liver Center).
