Westborough – Westborough resident Chris Neppl recently served as the Chair for the American Heart Association's Boston Go Red For Women Luncheon & Fashion Show, which took place at the Sheraton Boston Hotel.
Over 600 of Boston's most prominent female leaders from the corporate, medical, educational and social communities attended the event, which included educational forums, health screenings, and a fun and entertaining celebrity fashion show featuring the designs of Boston's own Sara Campbell worn by local heart disease survivors and media personalities.
Go Red For Women is a nationwide movement that empowers women with knowledge and tools so they can take positive action to reduce their risks of heart disease and stroke and protect their health. The Go Red For Women Luncheon takes a critical step toward raising women's awareness that heart disease is their number-one cause of death.
