Worcester – Stacey Ann Mahoney passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at UMass Memorial Medical Center I.C.U., with her loving family by her side.
Born Feb. 20 in Shrewsbury, she was the only daughter of Judith and Steven Baisley. She graduated from Saint Peter Marian Central Catholic High School and Worcester State University.
She worked for Fidelity in the financial field; Staples as an Administrator and Davox Corp in Westford as a Technical Recruiter.
In addition to her parents, she also leaves her grandfather, William Graves of Hingham; her Aunt Diane and Uncle Thomas O”Brien of Scituate; Aunt and Godmother Janice Hannigan of Marlborough; and three cousins, Elizabeth, Lindsey, and Erin. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Mary Karlon-Graves.
Stacey will be remembered as a kind, caring, and generous person who would drop anything to help a friend or loved one.
Her family would like to extend a very special “thank you” to the staff on the 6th floor I.C.U., for their loving care, support and treatment that was given to Stacey during her battle: “You are truly Angels of God…. Brien, Ellen, Mariette and Portia, as well as all the other wonderful people we encountered in the I.C.U.”
Following cremation, relatives and invited friends may attend her memorial funeral Mass Saturday, March 31, at 11 a.m., in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St., Worcester. The family will receive visitors following the Mass. Her interment will be held privately in Notre Dame Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel of Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
