Rotary Club of Northborough to hold ‘What's it Worth’ appraisal eventNorthborough – Join the Rotary Club of Northborough Tuesday, April 10, for an evening of discovery as it presents “What's it Worth.” The event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 Main St., Northborough.

Bring your family treasures and attic finds for verbal appraisals by Stuart Slavid, vice president, director of Fine Ceramics, director of European Furniture & Decorative Arts, and interim director, Asian Works of Art at Skinner Inc. Auctioneers and Appraisers. Slavid, a leading auctioneer and general appraiser, often lectures, conducts benefit auctions, and can be seen regularly on the PBS series, “Antiques Roadshow.” He belongs to a number of professional organizations, including the China Students’ Club of Boston, the Wedgwood Societies of New York and Boston, and the American Ceramics Circle.

Please omit bringing coins, stamps, jewelry, and musical instruments. Good quality photographs can be substituted for large or fragile items.
