Marlborough Public Library celebrates National Library WeekMarlborough – The Marlborough Public Library will celebrate National Library Week from April 9 to 14. Events include a workshop for Kindle owners, the Friends of the Marlborough Public Library's annual Paternoster Concert featuring Opera Prima Vera, a public reception for retiring employee Mena Hedin, and picture taking to celebrate Library Snapshot Day, which captures images from libraries across the state.

“Our staff and our friends have planned some great activities. We hope the public will stop by to enjoy them,” said Margaret Cardello, Library Director.

The library will also be offering our regular children's programs, including the Muggle Support Group, Baby Time, Pre-School Pals, American Girls Club, PJ Story time, Toddler Time, Mad Science, and a morning drop in craft to end the week Saturday, April 14.

Programs for teens include Musings for Teen Writers and Operation Otaku, an anime group. Check out the library's calendar at www.marlboroughpubliclibrary.org for details on these programs.
