Marlborough – James Scott Ricciuti, 48, died Thursday, April 5, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Marlborough, where he lived for most of his life.

Mr. Ricciuti was an extremely talented and well-known musician, songwriter, and performer who played at countless venues and with countless musicians. He worked for the family business, Murhall Inc., in Worcester for many years, where much of his work is still part of the Worcester area and surrounding towns.

He was loved by all who knew him. He was a charismatic, compassionate, loyal, loving, beautiful person who had a great big generous heart and a laugh that could be heard a mile away.

He is survived by his longtime love, Maro Eremyan, and her father, Akop Eremyan; his father, James Ricciuti, and his stepmother, Irene; his brother, Chris Ricciuti and his wife, Patty; his sister, Lisa Carmen and her husband, Bill; and his favorite and special admirers, nephews Jack, Joe, Elijah, and Gaelen, and his niece, Georgia. He was also the son of the late Carole Sue (Nicholls) Ricciuti, who died in January 2012.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, April 12, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Slattery Funeral Home, 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough.
