Marlborough – Joan M. (Zeh) Lowe, wife of the late John A. Lowe, formerly of Westborough, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 7, 2012 after a lengthy illness.
She leaves behind her two sons, David Lowe and his wife, Shauna, of Worcester, and Kevin Lowe and his wife, Anna, of Houston, Texas; a devoted daughter, Kim Kahan and her husband, David, of Boxborough; a brother, Charles Zeh and his wife, Irene, of Marlborough; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Janice Skowronek and Judy Zeh, and a beloved grandson, John Ledoux.
Born in Worcester and raised in Northborough, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice (O”Reilly) Zeh. She graduated from Northborough High School and went on to graduate from secretarial school.
In her later years, Mrs. Lowe grew to enjoy making crafts and painting. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially during the last few weeks of life, as they brought many smiles to her days.
A graveside service will honor Mrs. Lowe Saturday, April 14, at 11 a.m., in St. Luke's Cemetery, Westborough.
