Boston – The Arc of Massachusetts has announced that the second annual All Aboard The Arc! event will be held Sunday, April 29, from 12 to 2:30 p.m., at John Hancock Hall in Boston. All Aboard The Arc! will feature an inspirational opening ceremony celebrating The Arc movement, featured entertainment, and a chance to meet many business and civic leaders from Massachusetts.
All Aboard The Arc! hopes to raise $550,000 through donations and pledges to aid The Arc in the work they do for children and adults with intellectual and developmental challenges.
“We are proud to conduct All Aboard The Arc! in Boston to celebrate The Arc's leadership in the human and civil rights movement for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the achievements of people with special challenges, and their inclusion in the communities of Massachusetts,” said Leo Sarkissian, Executive Director of The Arc of Massachusetts. “People from all over the Commonwealth will be joining us to rally and support the thousands of people we serve. We thank Boston for hosting us, and our sponsors, families, volunteers, and partners for supporting this grand day.”
All Aboard The Arc! will feature an inspirational opening ceremony celebrating The Arc movement and entertainment. As part of the fundraiser, special guest entertainer Justin Hines will perform and share his talent, and his own inspiring story.
