Southborough – The town of Southborough's 22nd annual Earth Day cleanup will take place Saturday, April 28, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Volunteers are needed to help clean up areas throughout town. The rain date is April 29.
To adopt a favorite part of town, call the Department of Public Works at 508-485-1210 or visit their location next to the Transfer Station that morning to sign up and pick up trash bags. Coffee and pastries will be served at 8 a.m., and T-shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants should bring work gloves with them.
Stop by the Town Gazebo after cleaning up for pizza, soda and ice cream beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The annual cleanup is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Southborough, the Department of Public Works, the Southborough Green Technology & Recycling Committee,
Southborough Open Land Foundation, Domino's Pizza of Southborough, NSTAR, Mauro's Market, Hammond Residential Real Estate, Theracopia Massage Therapy and Wellness Center, Polar Beverages, and Red Barn Coffee Roasters.
