Home Instead's “Likes” for a Cause raises $500

Region – Home Instead Senior Care recently presented a check to the Community Harvest Project for $500. The check was the culmination of a month-long Facebook fundraiser for the Community Harvest Project, as Home Instead of Greater Worcester County and MetroWest donated $1 for every new “like” they received for the month of March, National Nutrition Month. In 2011, the Community Harvest Project donated over 117,000 lbs. of fresh fruits and vegetables to hunger relief organizations in the Worcester County Food Bank network. ArtmakerZ opens registration

Shrewsbury – ArtmakerZ at Gastonart & Frame in Shrewsbury has announced that registration for its next session of children's art classes for kids from grades 1 to 8 is now open. Children will make fun and creative art projects, as well as a large collaborative mural. Classes will be held Tuesday nights, beginning in early May, and will run for eight weeks.
