Southborough – Carolyn A. (Vickery) Burks, 72, of Southborough, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at the Coleman House in Northborough.

Born in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late John and Doris (Donnell) Vickery. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Maine in Orono, where she was an active member of Chi Omega Sorority.

Mrs. Burks was a homemaker and enjoyed volunteering. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest “Terry” Burks of Southborough; two daughters, Carey Isom and her husband, Phil, of Illinois and Ashley Repaskey and her husband, Dusty, of Colorado; two brothers, Thomas Vickery of Vermont and John Vickery of Maine; and seven grandchildren, Grant, Payton, Ann and Lane Isom, and Madyson, Allison and Anna Repaskey.

Visiting hours will be held Sunday, April 22, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. Southborough. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 23, at 10 a.m., at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 27 Main St., Southborough. Burial will be private.
