Cradles to Crayons clothing drive begins April 30 in SouthboroughSouthborough – Cradle to Crayons (C2C) is organizing a community-wide children's clothing drive in Southborough beginning Monday, April 30, and continuing through Saturday, May 12. Gently used clothing items will be collected by students, teachers, parents, and residents into C2C bins located in participating schools and then the drive will culminate in a clothing sorting event conducted by C2C volunteers, students, and parents at the Mars Room of the Fay School Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Now is the time to clean out your closets (adults included) and identify all those gently used items that don's fit anymore or have just fallen out of favor in order to help local children in need. Items most needed include clothing, all sizes, including adult; winter coats; shoes; sneakers; sandals and boots, all sizes; new socks; and new underwear.

For the convenience of the community, a “Pack-Rat” collection container will be located on Parkerville Road for the duration of the clothing drive. All Southborough residents are encouraged to donate clothing by placing their bags of clothing into the container. The container will be marked with a Cradles to Crayons banner and located adjacent to the reservoir near the Fay School athletic fields.
