Northborough – Helen M. Holmes, formerly of Brighton, South Yarmouth, and Freedom, N.H., daughter of the late Robert and Helen Flanagan, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 in Northborough.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph E. Holmes and loving mother of Mary-Ellen Holmes; Jean F. and her husband Dr. John P. Farricy of Northborough; Karen M. DeNaples of Winthrop; and Ralph E. Holmes Jr. and his wife Deborah of Arizona. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the kind staff at Beaumont Nursing Home.
Visiting hours will be Friday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 154 Route 6A in Sandwich, with a funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 12 p.m. Burial will be at Sandwich Town Cemetery.
