Marlborough – Svetlana Koleva (Anguelova) Stefanova, 47, died Wednesday, April 25, 20l2, surrounded by her family, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.

She leaves her husband of 24 years, Ioji Stefanov, and her two daughters, Dessislava I. Stefanova and Maria I. Stefanova, both of Marlborough. She also leaves her parents, Kolyo and Dimitria (Macheva) Anguelov of Marlborough. She was the sister of the late Roza Mollova, who died in 2007.

Born in Sliven, Bulgaria, she had lived in Marlborough for the past 17 years. She was a graduate of the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, with a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering.

For the past five years, she worked as a senior analyst programmer for the Helen of Troy (KAZ) of Southborough. Previously, she worked at Tyco Inc. of Westminster, Lucient of Marlborough, and Ascent of Marlborough, and started work when she first came to Marlborough at Stratus.

She was a member of Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church of Marlborough. She was a member of the Wayside Racquet and Swim Club of Marlborough, where she enjoyed playing tennis and working out. Also, she loved to travel and loved going back to Bulgaria with her family to visit her relatives and friends, and she loved to knit.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 30, at 10 a.m., in Sts. Anargrroi Greek Orthodox Church, 9 Cashman St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery of Marlborough. Calling hours are Sunday, April 29, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough.
