Hudson – Richard L. Zagura, 64, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Marlborough Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Michelle (Moziek) Zagura of Hudson.

Born and raised in Ludlow, son of the late Louis J. and Stella A. (Cygan) Zagura, he attended local schools and was a 1965 graduate of Springfield Technical High School. He received his Bachelor's degree from Gannon University in Erie, Penn., and later attended graduate courses at Boston College.

Mr. Zagura worked as a sales engineer for many years in the Motor and Speed Control Engineering field throughout the New England area. He has resided in Hudson the past 33 years.

He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. His favorite pastime was attending and watching soccer events. He truly enjoyed attending his children's soccer matches throughout the area in both high school and college, providing the transportation whenever and wherever it was needed.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his five children, Lisa Zagura of Newton; Lynne Espino and her husband, Ismael, of Shrewsbury; Krisha Risley and her husband, Robert, of Los Angeles; Zachary Zagura of Hudson; and Jillian Cunha and her husband, Matthew, of Millbury. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Cameron, Keila and Colby.

A Blessing for Mr. Zagura will be held Friday, April 6, at 9 a.m., in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours Thursday, April 5, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson.
