Hudson – The GFWC Marlborough Junior Woman's Club will presents “It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Ad World,” an original interactive comedy mystery that takes place in an ad agency in Boston in 1963, directed by Teresa Scarpato of Marlborough. The comedic night out will take place Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12, starting at 7:30 each evening, at the Hudson Elks Club, 99 Park St.

As “It's a Mad, Mad, Mad Ad World” begins, Worthing, Thomas & Foley have just landed a big client. After a night of celebrating, they return to get started on the new workload. That is, until someone in the office is found dead! Who could have done it? Join in and follow the clues. You will have the opportunity to question all the suspects and prizes will be given away for the best guesses!

The cast of characters (or suspects!) is comprised of a talented group of local performers. Eleven actors from area communities are playing the entertaining characters, including Joseph Scarpato as Don Breaker, Jodi Schoolcraft as Lois Wright, J.J. Lynch as Barbara O’Toole, Beth English as Mary Flaherty, and Steve D’Alessandro as Francis Thoreau, all of Marlborough; Mattie Schadt of Ashland as Annette Scribbler; Scott Rossini of Hooliston as Joeseppi DeLuca; Cathy Koerwer of Sudbury as Eleanor Fox; Jocelyne Durrenberger of Hudson as Alice Reynard; Matt Cogswell of Clinton as Art Deco’Ration; and Clara Calderón of Framingham as Dorothy Tchotchke.

There will be hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and a cash bar. Follow the clues, guess the murderer, sing the jingles. A fun time is guaranteed for all. Proceeds will go to “Meals on Wheels” and other charitable causes in the community.

Tickets are available at the door or online for $25 at www.marlboroughjuniors.org.
