Marlborough – The Marlborough High School (MHS) Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Gary Piazza, earned gold at the Central District Massachusetts Jazz Ensemble (MAJE) Festival.
The MHS Jazz Ensemble went on to perform at the MAJE State Festival at Framingham High School.
The following Jazz Ensemble members received an Outstanding Musicianship Award at the district MAJE Festival: Lucas Allen, guitar; Colin Davis, piano; and Nick Mosca, alto saxophone.
