Alexander W.  Paul elected to Phi Beta Kappa at St. Lawrence UniversitySouthborough – Alexander W. Paul, of Southborough, has been elected to St. Lawrence University's chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the national academic honor society. Election to Phi Beta Kappa is one of the highest distinctions of academic achievement a student can obtain.

A member of the class of 2012, Paul majors in anthropology and is a graduate of Brookline High School.

Election to Phi Beta Kappa is based on grade-point average and completion of appropriate credits toward a St. Lawrence University degree. To be considered, students must earn a 3.5 or better cumulative grade-point average by the close of their junior year, and have completed six semesters at St. Lawrence.
