Northborough – Incumbents Jeff Amberson and William Pantazis have won their bids for re-election in Northborough's Annual Town Election May 14, according to unofficial results released by the Town Clerk's office. Amberson received the most votes, 897, and Pantazis received 784. The two defeated Lisa Maselli and Howie E. Stone Jr., who received 732 and 705, respectively. There were also four write-ins and 156 blank ballots.
Of the town's 10,177 registered voters, 1,633 or 16 percent, came out to the polls.
“I want to thank all the people who voted and supported for me,” Amberson said after the results had been announced. “I think this show of support for Billy and me shows that the voters appreciate all the hard work that the entire board and the Town Administrator John Coderre have done so far.”
Amberson has served on the board for the last twelve years and Pantazis has served for nine.
