Helen L. Nobiletti, 82Shrewsbury – Helen L. (Grundstrom) Nobiletti, of Shrewsbury, died Friday, May 18, 2012 in St. Vincent Hospital with her family by her side. She was 82.

Born in Worcester on December 28, 1929 a daughter of the late Godfrey and Esther (Beauregard) Grundstrom she was raised and educated in Worcester and had been a resident of Shrewsbury since 1958.

Helen and her late husband, Carmine Nobiletti, owned and operated the former SNS TV on Harrington Avenue in Shrewsbury for many years. Prior to this, she was an assistant cook in the school cafeteria at Shrewsbury High School.

She was a member and former volunteer at the Shrewsbury Senior Center. Her interests were simple: reading a good book with her special companion, her cat Lili on her lap or a game of pitch or 500 Rummy with her family. Her family was a source of pride and she loved them all dearly.

In addition to her beloved and much missed husband, Carmine, she is predeceased by her siblings, Godfrey and Edward Grundstrom and Esther Viscera.

Helen leaves her son, George Nobiletti and his wife, Tami, of Plant City, Florida; her daughter Gail Sokolowski of Shrewsbury; and her three grandchildren, Alyssa Nobiletti of Plant City, Florida, Richard Nobiletti and his wife Jennifer of Lakeland, Florida and Lauren Sokolowski of Shrewsbury. She leaves two brothers, Robert Grundstrom and his wife, Grace, of Worcester and Philip Johnson and his wife, Paula, of Douglas; and her sister-in-law, Laura Casale of Shrewsbury, along with many nieces and nephews. Helen was blessed to have many special friends (you know who you are) and her wonderful neighbors, most notably Jack and Adele Hurst, Dave and Marlene O’Donnell, and Don and Judy Flanagan.

Family and friends will honor and remember Helen's life by gathering for a calling hour on Friday, May 25, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., at Heald & Chiampa Funeral Directors ~ The Sumner House, 5 Church Road, On the Common, Shrewsbury Center before leaving in procession to a graveside service being celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, Boylston St. (Rt. 140) in Shrewsbury. Rev. Paul T. O’Connell will officiate.
