Northborough – The Friends of the Northborough Library, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has granted the first Library Service Award to Hayley McKie and Kimberly Temlak.
This new award is given to a graduating high school senior(s) in recognition of their outstanding service to the Northborough Library.? The criterion for the award was an evaluation of the applicants” volunteer work for the Northborough Library or the Friends of the Library.
Hayley volunteered in the Children's Room at the Northborough Library and Kimberly was involved in the Teen Advisory Group (TAG] programs for children.
The library has many volunteer opportunities including: ?Friends of the Library book sales and other events; the Children's Summer Reading Program; involvement in TAG; and drop-in volunteering (when available).
To volunteer for a book sale, please contact [email protected]. To volunteer for the Children's Summer Reading Program, stop in the Children's Room before June 15.? Drop-in volunteering is available when the sign is up at the Circulation Desk.
