Milford – John M. Ricciuti, 56, of Milford and formerly of Marlborough, died suddenly Monday, May 21, 2012 at his residence. He was the husband of Dona Marie (Shores) Ricciuti.

Mr. Ricciuti was born in Marlborough, the son of the late Rocco Ricciuti and the son of Sancia Mary (Barriera) Ricciuti of Marlborough. He was a resident of Milford for the past 25 years, and prior to that had resided in Marlborough.

He attended Marlborough public schools and was a graduate of Marlborough High School, Class of 1973. He was also a graduate of Northeastern University, Class of 1980.

He was first employed as a radiology technician at the former Framingham Union Hospital, where he worked for about 10 years. Following that, he was employed for three years at Massachusetts General Hospital as the supervisor of the CT-SCAN Department. For the past 10 years he had been employed in the same capacity at Tufts/New England Medical Center.

Mr. Ricciuti is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Dona Marie; his three children, Sean Anthony Ricciuti of Milford, Kelly Ann Ricciuti of Somerville, and Kyle Andrew Ricciuti of Milford; his loving mother, Sancia Ricciuti of Marlborough; two sisters, Nancy Ricciuti of Marlborough and Kathleen, wife of Vincent Mullarkey, of Acton; and several, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

His funeral will be held Saturday, May 26, at 12 p.m., from the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 19 Winter St., Milford. Cremation will follow with private disposition of his cremains. Visiting hours will be Friday, May 25, from 5 to 8 p.m.
