Westborough – The Westborough Department of Public Works (DPW) ?will be flushing fire hydrants from May 16 to June 9 on the following streets: Otis, Fisher, Whipple Tree Lane, Assabet Drive, Edward Dunn Way, Maynard, and the Arch / Glen Street area.? Also included will be various dead end water mains throughout the town.
Hours of flushing will be between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.? Residents are asked to run their cold water faucet for 2 to 3 minutes to clear the water service line after their area has been flushed. They should also check the water color before consuming or doing laundry.
A message board will be placed in the area to be flushed prior to flushing.? Residents may also contact the DPW at 508-366-3070 for the current flushing area or any related questions.
