Dance Expressions dancers win Platinum awards

Westborough – May 5, 21 dancers from Laurene Aldorisio's Academy of Dance Expressions competed in the Step Up 2 Dance Competition at the Thayer Auditorium in Fitchburg. The dancers performed two routines: a hip hop medley featured at the Worcester Sharks Hockey Game this past April 2012 and a jazz routine to “Footloose,” both winning the coveted Platinum awards (pictured). The dancers range in age from 10 to 17 years old, and competed against hundreds of dancers. In addition to the dance awards, Miss Laurene won the Triple A Award for Excellence in Artistry. Dance Expressions is located at 45 East Main St., Westborough.
