Southborough – The Veterans of Southborough extend an invitation to the Board of Selectmen and all town of Southborough residents and veterans to join them for the upcoming Memorial Day 2012 observances.
Join in with placing flags on the graves of veterans Friday, May 25, at 6 p.m. at the Rural Cemetery on Route 85. Monday, May 28, at 8:15 a.m., veterans may join in at the American Legion/VFW Headquarters at the Community House to march together to the Marlboro Savings Bank. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. at the Marlboro Savings Bank, and will visit the respective cemeteries and memorials to pay tribute and honor those who have worn the uniform in service to the United States of America to protect the freedoms of every citizen.
