Ashland – The Grand Opening of the Ashland Farmers Market will be held rain or shine Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 125 Front St., on the grassy area diagonally across from the Ashland Public Library.
Shop 20-plus tents of farmers, bakers, specialty food makers, and artisans, and visit the Kids Corner tent from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for a seed planting activity. The Railroad House Band will perform at 10:30 a.m., with the Opening Day Ceremony preceding the band performance. Also, stop by the Market Manager's tent to pick up your Rediscover Ashland Treasure Hunt Program Book and to cast your ballot for Ashland's Best Pizza, as well as enter the raffle for a basketful of Farmers Market treats.
