Boca Raton, Fla. – Richard E. Butler, 67, of Boca Raton, FL, formerly of Hudson, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Florida. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Linda (Martz) Butler of Boca Raton, FL.

Richard was born in Concord, son of the late Edward and Mary (Cannella) Butler. He was a longtime resident of Hudson and had resided in Boca Raton for the past 19 years following his retirement from the automotive recycling business after many years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Linda White and her husband John of Hudson and Marybeth Juliano and her husband Michael of Boylston; his sister, Rosalie Collins of New Hampshire; his three grandchildren, Thomas White and his wife Bridget of Boston, Cameron White of Hudson, and Kyle Grasso of Boylston; and his great-granddaughter, Lila White of Boston. He is also survived by his first wife and mother of his daughters, Nancy (George) Tierney of Hudson, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 6, at 9:00 a.m., in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
