Berlin – Barbara J. (Forbes) Baker, 48, of Berlin, died Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Marlborough Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Anthony C. Baker of Berlin.

Barbara was born in Clinton, daughter of Beverly (Carlson) Warbin and her husband Richard Warbin of Berlin. She resided in Berlin for the majority of her life, where she attended local schools and graduated from Tahanto Regional High School. She later received her Associate's Degree from Fisher College.

Barbara took pride in the raising of her two children and devoted much of her free time as a Board of Trustee member and volunteer at the Berlin Food Pantry. She enjoyed spending time at local beaches, especially her yearly vacations to Cape Cod, day trips to Salisbury Beach, and visiting with her family in Key West, Florida during the winter months. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Marlborough.

Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by her two sons, Paul and Joseph Baker of Berlin, and her siblings, Ruth Forbes and her companion Paul Couillard of Whitinsville, Edward Forbes and his wife Sue of Marlborough, Eric Forbes and his fiancé September Thompson of Oxford, Rick Warbin and his wife Shelly of Wentworth, NH, and Scott Warbin of Wentworth, NH. She was the sister of the late Christopher Warbin of Wentworth, NH, and is also survived by her beloved mother-in-law, Elaine (Matthews) Baker of Hudson, and her sisters and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may attend calling hours Friday, June 8, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Burial services are being held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Barbara may be made to the Berlin Food Pantry, 23 Linden St., Cluster Box #6, Berlin, MA 01503 or the American Red Cross, 2000 Century Dr., Worcester, MA 01606.
