Jared R. Page, 34Northborough – Jared “Buddy” R. Page, 34, died Friday, June 1, 2012 at U-Mass/Memorial (University Campus) in Worcester after an illness.

He leaves his beloved son, Devon Page of South Boston; his loyal dog and best friend, Jamie; his parents, Robert and Marsha A. (LaBrache) Page III of Northborough; three brothers, David “Cole” Page and his wife Hope of Northborough, Tadd Page and his wife Erin of Northborough, and Trevor Page of Marlborough; his maternal grandmother, Rachel LaBrache of Marlborough; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; his former love, Devon's mother, Elizabeth Samia; his dear friends, Tommy and Anu Sealey; and last but not least, his friend, Aunty Lorrie.

Born in Framingham, Buddy was a lifelong resident of Northborough. He attended St. Peter Marian High School in Worcester and Lawrence Academy in Groton, where he excelled as an athlete playing hockey and baseball. He also attended University of Connecticut. He went on to play junior hockey for the Biddeford Snow Devils in Maine.

Buddy was part owner of the family business, Butternut Golf Course in Stow, where he was currently working.

He was devoted to his son Devon and loved watching him play youth sports. He was an avid Patriots fan and also enjoyed watching Boston professional sports games.

Calling hours are Friday, June 8, from 4 to 7 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. The funeral will be held Saturday, June 9, at 10 a.m., in Church of the Nativity, 45 Howard St., Northborough. Buddy's burial will be private.
