Westborough advances to the semi-finals

Number-two-seed Westborough hosted number-seven-seed Groton-Dunstable for a Mass Central Division 1 quarter-final playoff game in Westborough. GDRHS got off to a quick start, going up 4-0, while WHS didn’t score until the 13-minute mark of the first half. WHS started to pull together and the half ended with the team being up, 7-6.
In the second half, both teams battled hard, but WHS continued its momentum and won 16-11. Westborough will advance to play Tantasqua in the semi-final.
