Westborough – The For Your Inspiration Youth Choir of First United Methodist Church, Corpus Christi, Texas, will present the musical “Godspell” Wednesday, June 13, at 7 p.m., at First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St. (directly across Route 30 from the Westborough Country Club). The musical premiered on Broadway in 1971 and is based on the Gospel according to St. Matthew.
The performance is part of the choir's annual Outreach Choir Tour. The choir members are youth in grades 6 through 12 attending school in five school districts in the Corpus Christi area.
Free-will donations will be accepted to support the music ministry of First United Methodist Church, Westborough.
