Westborough – Since the early 1990s, the Westborough Players’ Club has been awarding scholarship to graduating high school seniors planning careers in the performing arts and related theatrical areas. This year's winners of $1,000 scholarships are Westborough High School 2012 graduates Kathryn Barrett, who will be attending Roger Williams University; Mara Frumkin, who will be attending Texas Christian University; Alexander C. T. Hayes, who will be attending Clark University; and Chloe Reske, who will be attending Tufts University.
As the Westborough Players’ Club, celebrates its 75th season of bringing community theater to Central Massachusetts, it is proud to continue its support of the educational future of its junior members and area students bound for theater-related careers.
