Hudson – William “Bill” J. Sedelow Jr., 84, died Monday, June 18, 2012 at UMass Memorial Health Care (University Campus) after a brief illness.
He leaves behind his two sisters, Elizabeth “Betty” Tripp of Northborough and Barbara Wickstrom of Rochester, N.Y., and many nieces and nephews.
Bill was born and raised in Springfield, son of the late William J. and Elise M. (Englehardt) Sedelow Sr. He worked for Lewcott Corp. in Millbury for 20 years, retiring in 1992. He worked part-time at Stop & Shop in Hudson.
He was an ardent fisherman, fishing in lakes and streams throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He was a member of Sutton Rod and Gun Club and Woodville Rod and Gun Club in Hopkinton.
A calling hour will be held Monday, June 25, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. His funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main St., Northborough. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery.
