Ann M. Bianco, 97Shrewsbury ? Mrs. Ann M. “Nina” (Maffeo) Bianco, 97, passed away Friday June 22, 2012, with her family by her side, at the Holy Trinity Nursing Home. She was the loving wife to the late Gerald J. Bianco.

Ann is survived by a son, John G. Bianco and his wife, Beverly, of Holden; two daughters, Geraldine M. Delage and her husband, Ronald, of Worcester and Lola Peterson of Worcester; two brothers, Eugene Albrizio and his wife, Rose, of Shrewsbury and Americo Albrizio of Florida; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Marie A. Curry; a son, Michael Bianco; her sister, Mary A. Trippi; a brother, Joseph Albrizio; her step-father, Michael Albrizio; and a son-in-law, Robert Peterson Jr.

Ann was born May 7, 1915, in Worcester, a daughter of the late Vincent and Lola (Didino) Maffeo. A lifelong resident of Shrewsbury, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her family. She loved being with her family, cooking and entertaining at her home.

She was an avid piano player, reader, swimmer, and walker. She was a parishioner of St Anne's Parish in Shrewsbury.

The Bianco family wishes to thank the staff at the Holy Trinity Rehab and Nursing Home for “the professionalism, care, and dedication to our mom.”

Her funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 26, at 10:00 a.m., at St Anne's Church in Shrewsbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. There will be no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Fazio Funeral Home. Visit www.faziofuneralhome.com for more information.
