Shrewsbury to celebrate Fourth of July

    Shrewsbury to celebrate Fourth of JulyShrewsbury – The town of Shrewsbury's Fourth of July Celebration will be held Wednesday, July 4, from noon to 4 p.m. along Main Street. The event will include food vendors, live music and DJs, inflatable amusements, clowns and face painting. A decorated bike and doll carriage parade will promenade down Main Street starting at 12:30 p.m.

    There will also be a performance at the Musical/Dancing Fountains in Dean Park July 2 and July 4 starting at 8 p.m. each night. The event is billed as “A Tribute to the Armed Forces – Patriotic Music of our Country.” Residents may listen along to the music on car or portable radios by tuning into 91.7 FM.
