Marlborough – Malvina E. (Buturlia) Brozowski, 90, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 after a short period of failing health.? She was the wife of the late Benjamin Brozowski, who died in 1974.
She was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Alex and Nadja (Kulowicz) Buturlia, and lived here all of her life. She was a longtime member of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Marlborough.
Mrs. Brozowski worked as an assembler at the former Honeywell Corp. in Northborough and also for Aries Medical in Woburn. As a young woman, she worked in many of the local shoe factories performing many different duties.
She is survived by a son, Robert Brozowski of Middletown, CT; two daughters, Karen Brozowski of Marlborough and Jean Brozowski of Auburn; and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, July 17, at 9:00 a.m., in the Immaculate Conception Church, 11 Prospect St, Marlborough. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Monday, July 16, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home, 95 West Main St., Marlborough.
