Westborough – Located on the corner of Route 9 and Milk Street in Westborough for the past 14 years, Gerardo's Italian Bakery is a local favorite. Known for their cannolis, fresh breads, pastries and cakes, Gerardo's has enjoyed the patronage of Route 9 commuters and travelers who have come to know the staff by name. In order to better serve their customers, Gerardo's is building an entire new bakery adjacent to the current shop. The new bakery will be 2,000 square feet, double their current size, and will have a seating area and expanded parking.
The current Gerardo's will remain open throughout construction. A September grand opening is scheduled.
In addition to the Westborough location,?Gerardo's has?a main bakery located at 339 West Boylston St. in Boylston and a location in Bolton Orchards.
