Hudson – Frank P. Garcia, 89, of Hudson, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Marlborough Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Laura B. (Braga) Garcia of Hudson.
Frank was born and raised in Hudson, where he resided all of his life. Son of the late Virginio and Mary I. (Pinheiro) Garcia, Frank was employed for many years with the Raytheon Co. in Wayland as a janitor until his retirement. He was a member of the Hudson Portuguese Club and Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson, as well as a member of the Holy Ghost Society at Saint Michael's.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sister, Mary Marrama, and brother, Joe Garcia, both of Hudson. He was also the brother of the late Louis Garcia of Hudson, and leaves his many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 20, at 9 a.m., in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 19, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St.
