Northborough – The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved a Common Victualler and Entertainment License for YOWZA, LLC at its July 16 meeting.
YOWZA, LLC will be opening a frozen yogurt shop at 269 West Main St. It will feature a “weigh and pay” system for purchasing frozen yogurt and toppings. ?All yogurt and toppings will be priced at $.49 per ounce.
The shop will be open year-round and will feature 16 to 18 indoor seats. There will also be an outdoor patio with approximately a dozen seats.
The shop's owners, Jim Brown and Scott Boyers, own other businesses in Northborough. Boyers is known for his popular coffee shop in town, Lalajava Coffeehouse. The owners anticipate holding a grand opening for the new establishment at the end of August.
The board wished the men good luck in their new business venture.
Bill Pantazis, the board's chair, added, “We can's wait!”
