Course records set at 10K for charitiesMarlborough/Hudson – Chris Kibler, of the Boston Athletic Association, finishes first overall in 33:55, a course record, at the Highland City Striders fourth annual Running with the Wolves 10K Road Race held July 18, beginning and ending at Kelleher Field in Marlborough. Amanda Kourtz, of Boston Scientific, was the first-place female in 38:11, a course record for females. Over 200 runners ages 14 to 69 traveled on the Assabet River Rail Trail into Hudson, then back for a stadium finish. Proceeds go to the food pantries in Marlborough and Hudson, and Shoes for Schools, a program providing shoes for students facing financial challenges.
