Westborough – The Westborough Board of Health and the Westborough Fire Department have announced that residents may bring used sharps (hypodermic needles, lancets, etc.) to the Fire Station for disposal. Disposal of sharps in the trash was banned July 1.
There is no charge at this time, and residents may bring sharps between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., seven days a week. The sharps must be in a container.
