Marlborough – In an effort to serve its home city of Marlborough, Connecting Point Church will host a gardening day Sunday, Aug. 26, starting at 10 a.m., at Whitcomb Middle School. The goal is to beautify the courtyard of the school by mulching trees, raking and cleaning, trimming hedges, and planting flowers among other things.
This is the church's way of giving back to the community and the school that hosts its Sunday services. Anyone with a green thumb or just an interest to help out is welcome to participate. Please bring work gloves, sunscreen, work clothes, and any yard equipment to share.
