Berlin – “Next to Normal ,” an emotional, groundbreaking rock musical about Diana Goodman, a wife and mother struggling with delusional bipolar disorder,” will be performed Sept. 7 – 16 in the 1870 Town Hall in Berlin. The performance is a powerful and poignant story about a family's fight to maintain stability after numerous failed attempts at relieving Diana of her hallucinations. With the help of each other, the Goodmans must realize that “normalcy” is not always attainable, but striving for next to normal lives may be enough to keep their world from falling apart.
