Leicester – Doris Selina (Carlson) Beauregard, 87, formerly of Leicester, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012.
Doris was born in Stora Berga, Sweden in 1925, grew up in Auburn, and lived most of her life in Leicester. She visited Sweden several times and was the best ambassador the U.S. ever had.
She leaves her beloved daughter, Lisa Beauregard of Westborough, and nieces and nephews, Karen, Everett, Debora, Cindy, Jean, Wendy, John, Lyn, and David, as well as many other cousins, greats, extended family and friends.
Doris loved to hear about the experiences of everyone she ever met. She was an avid reader and loved to read about different places and people. She loved children and would often take car loads of kids to Cape Cod. We will always be grateful for the experiences of the Cape and the love, trust and independence she gave us.
There will be no calling hours and the burial will be private. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Mary Queen of The Rosary Food Pantry, 60 Maple St., Spencer, MA 01562.
