On this day in 2000, Richard Hatch became the first person to win on the popular show, “Survivor.”
And on this day in 2006, an Australian teenager, Natascha Kampusch, finally escaped the man who had kidnapped her eight years earlier, Wolfgang Priklopil. Natascha's bravery inspired millions around the world.
