Shrewsbury – Adriana Ford, 8, aided by her father, Mike Ford, studies the map of Spring Street School during the school's “Newcomers’ Tea,” while her brother Joshua, 5, looks on. Mike attended Spring Street School himself and recently moved his family back to Shrewsbury from Boxborough.
Sponsored by the Spring Street School Parent Teacher Organization, the Newcomers’ Tea welcomed roughly 75 new students, offering them a chance to explore the classrooms, meet teachers and ride the school bus.
