Region – Today is Tuesday, Nov. 20, the 325th day of 2012.
On this day in 1968, 78 men were killed when methane gas caused explosions in a West Virginia coal mine. The damage was so severe that the mine had to be sealed with the bodies of the men still inside it.
On this day in 1992, a fire broke out at Windsor Castle in England, causing over $79 million dollars in damage.
And on this day in 2003, music producer Phil Spector was indicted in the murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
