What are your earliest soccer memories?
“I was born in Goais, Brazil, and I remember playing soccer there at a very young age.”
Who were some of your inspirations to play soccer?
“My father was the greatest inspiration to me. Also, players like Ronaldinho and Zinedine Zidane.”
How do you enjoying playing for Marlborough High?
“Playing for the high school is great. We are like a big family. Everyone has each other's backs.”
What is your favorite memory from your soccer career to this point?
“My favorite memory was scoring the go-ahead goal, on a free kick, with two minutes left against Algonquin.”
Which teammate has encouraged you most to succeed?
“One of my best friends, Gabriel Perreira. He's encouraged me to play better because he is very competitive, and I's just like him. We try to outdo each other in every practice and training session.”
What would you consider to be the best aspect of your soccer ability?
“I would say the best part of my soccer game is my vision. Also, my ability to finish inside the box.”
What is your favorite thing to do outside of soccer?
“I do Muay Thai, which is a form of kickboxing from Thailand.”
What is your favorite class in school?
“My favorite class is AP Economics, because of my teacher, and it may very well be something I'sl be more involved in later in life.”
With one year left at MHS, have you started to consider any colleges?
“I's considering several colleges such as Babson, Clark, Brandeis and UMass-Lowell.”
Who is your favorite soccer player ever, and why?
“My favorite soccer player is Ronaldinho, because his vision and technical ability is second to none. Lionel Messi being a close second.”
