Shrewsbury – The 9th Annual Shrewsbury Youth & Family Services, Inc. (SYFS), Gala – “Thirty Years of Community Caring -? has been rescheduled for? Saturday, February 23, 6 p.m. in the Salem Commons at St. John's High School. The event will honor the four Outstanding Youth of Shrewsbury Award recipients: Kristen Grip, Nick Silverio and Jennifer Tylock, all of Shrewsbury High School and Aaron Hayden of St. John's High School.
The event was originally to be held Feb. 9 but was postponed due to the weekend blizzard. ?As a result, registration has reopened until Friday, Feb. 3.? To learn more about sponsorship or to purchase tickets ($85.00 per ticket) contact SYFS at 508-845-6932 or visit www.syfs-ma.org.
SYFS officials also requests that guests who unable to make the new date contact the office by Friday, Feb. 15 so that they may have an accurate headcount.
In addition to the four youth recipients, SYFS will also honor Bob Jacques, the 2013 Harry S. Cutting, Jr. Award recipient.
